All You Need To Know About BIGSOUND Live!
Excited for BIGSOUND Live? We certainly are. Before you enjoy the festivities, make sure you read up on our information pertaining to ticketing, wristbands, venues and our official BIGSOUND App!
TICKETING AND BIGSOUND LIVE WRISTBANDS
BIGSOUND Live is a wrist banded event.
Wearing a BIGSOUND Live wrist band gives you access to all the venues involved (depending on venue capacity).
To obtain your wristband/s please take your paper ticket/s to:
OzTix Shopfront, 693 Ann Street, Fortitude Valley (next to Love & Rockets)
During the following times:
Wednesday, 12th September - between 4pm - 11pm
Thursday, 13th September – between 4pm – 10pm
ADDITIONAL TICKETS can also be purchased on the night unless sold out prior.
BOX OFFICE TICKET PRICE: $69 for both nights, $45 for one night.
Tickets will be sold only by EFTPOS on the day (debit card, Visa and Mastercard)
Please Note:
- Venue and performance times are subject to change, so keep your eye on www.bigsound.org.au for the latest program information.
- Due to capacity issues with smaller venues we can not guarantee entry to every venue, so please ensure you arrive early for your favourite artists.
- All BIGSOUND Live shows are strictly 18+
- Please have your ID available when collecting wristbands

CONFERENCE AND LIVE VENUE LOCATIONS
Located in the heart of Fortitude Valley, the conference venues are a short walk from train and bus services, and are surrounded by the cafes, restaurants, bars and boutiques of 'The Valley', James Street and New Farm.
The closest train station is Fortitude Valley. Various Brisbane City Council buses pass through Fortitude Valley regularly. See Brisbane Transport for timetables and information.
The BIGSOUND Conference will be held at the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts, Cloudland, Jamie's Expresso Bar Carpark and Birdee Num Nums.
Please Note: You will need to collect your delegate pass from the Judith Wright Centre before attending any sessions. The Registration Desk will be in the foyer on Level 2.
BIGSOUND Live 2012 will be held across 12 venues in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley:
Alhambra Lounge, Bakery Lane, Black Bear Lodge, Electric Playground, Magic City, Mustang Bar, Oh Hello, Press Club, Ric's Bar, The Tempo Hotel, QMusic Stage and The Zoo.
