Funding Available for NSW BIGSOUND Showcasing Artists Through MusicNSW
Music NSW has announced a quick response grant program offering New South Wales artists the opportunity to apply for funding to assist in meeting travel expenses for international showcasing opportunities within Australia. Artists applying to perform at BIGSOUND 2013 are encouraged to submit for the funding.

BIGSOUND Live Applications Extended
Due to overwhelming demand, the deadline for BIGSOUND Live artist applications has been extended to fall two weeks following the first BIGSOUND 2013 program announcement on May 9th. Applications now close Monday May 20.

BIGSOUND Live showcase applications close April 29 for the September 11-13 event. Held annually in Brisbane, BIGSOUND is recognised as Australia's leading international music industry gathering. Over three days each September, BIGSOUND draws a growing contingent of musicians, managers, buyers, industry experts and music lovers to meet, learn, and discover new music in Brisbane's renowned entertainment precinct, Fortitude Valley.
