2015 In Review

BIGSOUND has wrapped up for another year, and we'd like to take a moment to say a huge thanks to all who attended.

This year's event was truly the biggest we have hosted to date, thanks in no small part to the amazing support of both our new and long-running event partners Arts Queensland, Virgin Australia and Oztix, as well as hardworking staff and volunteers.

QMusic was proud to include the #notON campaign as part of a broader BIGSOUND program that includes a keynote address from acclaimed music journalist, Jessica Hopper, and panel content on safe spaces, and other issues affecting women in the music industry (delivered in partnership with music industry women’s group, LISTEN).

QMusic welcomes Maggie Collins to the BIGSOUND programming team for 2016, joining executive programmer Nick O’Byrne in a co-programming capacity.

We look forward to welcoming you back next year (September 7 - 9, 2016).
