The Format
Big Sound will incorporate a range of free and paid music forums and roundtables over three days from July 10 - 12, 2002, culminating with the launch of the Valley Fiesta (July 12 - 14), Brisbane's biggest outdoor, free music festival.
Big Sound features a diverse range of forums that investigate Queensland's local music scene and explore its place in the wider national and international industry. Forums will explore the new wave of music business models focusing on independent DIY models of success.
The conference also comprises a number of exclusive smaller master classes with national & local music professionals where participants take advantage of first hand advice and networking opportunities.
Big Sound closes with a bang as we blast off with the first Q Music ROCKET Gig for 2002 featuring a great line up of Queensland bands (Full Fathom Five, Glockenspiel, Everyman and His Llama, Pty Ltd, Briztronix, Souvenir City & DJ Specimen) in the Brunswick Street Mall from 5pm.
