Does Australia lack the sophistication in terms of technology and personnel? Or is there greater strength in having your product recorded at a particular studio with a well known producer who'll grab the attention of industry heavyweights.

Currently teaching at the Contemporary Music Centre at Southbank Tafe and is an active composer for screen, television and other art forms. Recently, Ross was awarded with Australian Guild of Screen Composers Award for best music in the Documentary Category in 2001.

Greg Simmons
Greg Simmons has over 22 years experience in the audio industry, predominantly focused on studio recording and mixing, & sound reinforcement. He's been actively involved in audio education since 1985, and has been a regular contributor to audio publications since 1988. Greg is currently employed as Head of Audio at the JMC Academy, & is Editorial Director of AudioTechnology magazine.

ARIA award winning producer of Regurgitator's Album 'Unit'. Brisbane based engineer with a considerable stable of work to his credit. Partner in Black Box Recorders, Other work includes Not From There album Latvian Lovers, as well as Nokturnal & Gota Cola recordings.

Leon Prescott (Sunshine Studios)
Owner / manager of Sunshine Studios and has over 25 years recording experience. Some of the acts that have passed through the Sunshine Studio doors range from Powderfinger, You Am I, and most recently Drag.

Michael Hogg (Low Key Operations)
Aka 'Low Key Operations' and one half of Low Key & Nude, Hogg is a composer, programmer and producer of electronic music. LK&N's work is a hybrid of electronic music, poetry and spoken word and reaches into the music, multi-media and arts industry locally, interstate and overseas.

Bill Cullen (One Louder - Management for Alex Lloyd)
Started as a tour manager at the tender age of 19 with Mark Williams and since tour managed for Crowded House, Beth Orton, PJ Harvey and the Manic Street Preachers to name a few. Bill also has an extensive career in management and worked for many years with Grant Thomas Management. Bill provided tour management and management for OMC, Arnold and co-management for Crowded House. One Louder was established in 2000 and has since signed Alex Lloyd, Amiel, Shane Nicholson and Queensland's very own george. One Louder's latest venture is Hello Cleveland, an independent record label.
