The year is 2012. The world is a different place. The music industry is a different industry.
CD's no longer exist; internet radio is everywhere - including your car.
The local DIY scenes are thriving but multi-national conglomerates have increasing control over regulated net based production. In spite of this, there are continual grass roots revolutions consistently hacking at the net to promote independent artists.
In this session we take a look at Australian music industry as part of an increasingly complex global economy. We explore the possibilities for Australian music in the future in the face of technological and cultural change.
