Music: Income Streams and Careers

Thursday 11 July 2002, 4:00pm
Earning an income in the industry isn't always about selling records, touring the country and being the next big thing. Not everyone involved in the music industry will ever make it to the top of the charts or even care to do so.

This session explores the diverse means and methods to sustain you as an artist or industry practitioner in the music industry with a viable, sustainable and rewarding career. Covers opportunities in publishing mediums such as film, TV and advertising, as well as recording studio and session work.
