Singer, guitarist, pianist and songwriter Leena Thavisin has travelled the world for most of her life. At 21, she decided to come home to Fremantle, Western Australia and has since relocated to Melbourne. Leena has just returned from Los Angeles after exciting in demand producer Joe Chiccarelli (The Shins, My Morning Jacket, White Stripes) to produce new material. A formidable team was built to record, including co-producer Mike Daly (Whiskeytown member, Pernice Brothers), Joey Waronker (R.E.M, Elliott Smith and Beck), Justin Meldal Johnsen (Beck, Air, Tori Amos) and guest vocals from Cary Brothers. Leena has collaborated with Josh Pyke, Perth band Eskimo Joe, McGowan Southworth (Co-writer Ben Lee's 'Catch My Disease') Melanie Horsnell and more.
