Julia Aeling - Director of International Sales & Marketing, Fontana Distribution (US)
Julia Aeling is the Director of International Sales and Marketing at Fontana Distribution, Universal Music Group's Los Angeles based independent distribution arm.
A 14 year music industry veteran, Julia has been with Fontana since its inception in 2004; in 2007 she spearheaded the Fontana International department and in-house label.
Although it really all began in the early 90s, working in indie music retail, it was music journalism that led Julia directly to her career in the industry. Her love for all things international was fueled by several years living in London, where she worked for Mammoth International, Dedicated Records, and PolyGram International. Stateside, she spent time at Sony and Sony*BMG before joining the Universal family.
