The investment covers the provision of production and sound operators for the event, as well as 50 wristbands, which enable hosts to invite guests to their party who are not already attending BIG SOUND. The function of these wristbands doubles to grant guests access to BIG SOUND artist showcases on the night.
BIG SOUND Parties enable hosts to:
- Curate all entertainment / bands for the session
- Provide signage throughout the venue
- Send personal invitations to desired guests, and promote the session to all conference delegates
- Promote the party in the BIG SOUND program as an official BIG SOUND event

BIG SOUND Volunteering Opportunities
In preparation for the BIG SOUND International Music Industry Summit 2009, Q Music is calling for volunteers to assist in various aspects of the conference's planning and management. Volunteers should be reliable and enthusiastic. RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate holders especially are urged to apply.
Volunteers are required for both the conference itself (running 9am-5pm) as well as BIG SOUND industry showcases (running 5pm-12am), from the 9th to the 11th of September. Some aid will also be required in the weeks preceding the event. Times are flexible.
