Special Announcement: BIG SOUND Summit & Showcase Partnership Opportunities Open, Organisers Call for Event Volunteers 29 Jul 2009

The 2009 BIG SOUND International Music Industry Summit is just six short weeks away. It’s set to be the biggest BIG SOUND yet, with the recent announcement that the annual International Music Managers Forum board meeting will see some of the world’s most influential managers join the summit’s already remarkable guest list. Don’t miss your opportunity to be involved in this landmark event.

BIG SOUND 09 Partnership and Showcase Party Opportunities

BIG SOUND is one of Australia’s largest gatherings of key entertainment industry tastemakers from around the world, creating and discussing trends that will impact the music cultures of tomorrow. Your brand is invited to be a part of the event.

In 2009, BIG SOUND will:
- Deliver 400 of Australia's and the world's top music industry decisionmakers
- Deliver public exposure at artist showcases
- Provide sponsors with massive exposure via Q Music's media partners
(last year's BIG SOUND Summit received national coverage in Rolling Stone, triple j, j-mag, local and national street press, and much more) - Provide a low-clutter environment, and tailored solutions to get your message to your market

Held in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, BIG SOUND is one of the most respected and fastest growing music business events in the Asia Pacific region. Produced by Q Music (Queensland Music Network Inc), and now in its seventh year, BIG SOUND is positioned as Australia’s most internationally focused music festival and conference, producing three days of panels, workshops and artist showcases for local, national and international music industry representatives. The conference connects the connectors, creating an environment to simultaneously launch the hot new artists of tomorrow and the new and innovative business ideas that will take them to the top.

BIG SOUND presents exciting opportunities for innovative brands wishing to capture the attention of an exciting and forward thinking target market. By putting you in direct contact with key gatekeepers in the music business, BIG SOUND can connect your brand with the audiences it needs.

A number of packages are available to BIG SOUND 09 partners, including conference lunch, panel, and workshop sponsorship.

A new partnership opportunity also exists with BIG SOUND this year, with the arrival of official BIG SOUND Parties. Parties provide a platform for music businesses to showcase artists, products and services, using one of a selection of BIG SOUND showcase venues throughout the Fortitude Valley.

The investment covers the provision of production and sound operators for the event, as well as 50 wristbands, which enable hosts to invite guests to their party who are not already attending BIG SOUND. The function of these wristbands doubles to grant guests access to BIG SOUND artist showcases on the night.

BIG SOUND Parties enable hosts to:
- Curate all entertainment / bands for the session
- Provide signage throughout the venue
- Send personal invitations to desired guests, and promote the session to all conference delegates
- Promote the party in the BIG SOUND program as an official BIG SOUND event
