A-Venue Moreton Bay is proud to announce "Amplify", a series of workshops for the Moreton Bay Region.

The Amplify series aims to give young and emerging artists an introduction to the structures and workings of the music industry. See below for details on the first round of Amplify sessions.

What is this Thing Called the Music Industry?
This workshop will look at the broad and ever changing landscape of the music industry as we know it in Australia. Topics will include – record companies, a look at publishing, songwriting, fans, radio, touring, management, and media, and how all these work together to create the cogs that keep the machine moving.

Tuesday 2nd Feb - Caboolture Memorial Hall

Wednesday 3rd Feb - Lions Hall Lawnton Showgrounds

Thursday 4th Feb - Redcliffe Youth Space

All workshops run 6pm-7:30pm, with a jam 7:30pm-9:00pm. Cost of entry is a gold coin donation. For more information, and to book your seat, email Cassie Russell at transit.lounge@moretonbay.qld.gov.au.
