Submission Deadline Extended for Americana Music Festival Showcase Opportunities

The 11th annual Americana Music Festival & Conference will take place from Wednesday, September 8th through Saturday, September 11th, 2010, gathering thousands of artists, fans and industry professionals from all over the world.

Due to overwhelming demand, the conference's 2010 artist showcase submission deadline has now been extended to April 30. All applicants will be notified by Friday, July 9, 2010 as to whether they've been selected for this year's event.

Organisers received over 800 submissions for the approximately 100 showcase slots available for the 2009 Festival & Conference.

Genres accepted include Americana, Roots, Alt Country, Folk, Bluegrass and Blues.
