Funding Support

Q Music gratefully acknowledges the ongoing support received from the following funding bodies:


 

Arts Queensland: Arts Queensland is the State Government's major funding, advisory and advocacy body for arts and cultural development in Queensland. Its mission is to build and enrich Queensland's arts and cultural life. Arts Queensland funds Q Music for its core operations and has done so since 1994. It provides further funds to Q Music for the delivery of the A-Venue program in Brisbane.

Australia Council: The Australia Council is the Commonwealth Government's principal arts funding and advisory body. It aims to enrich the life of the nation by supporting and promoting the arts. The Australia Council began funding Q Music in 2000.

APRA: APRA (the Australasian Performing Right Association) is the copyright collection society that is an association of composers, authors and publishers of music in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific: having affiliations with similarly constituted organisations throughout the world. APRA also provides funding to enable Q Music to continue its core activities.
