Teacher Resources

Music Generators was an intensive song writing program which was piloted in four schools across Queensland by Q Music in 2009. Music Generators was generously funded by Arts Queensland and delivered in partnership with Queensland Department of Education.

During the year of creativity – 2009, Music Generators benefited many school aged children; developing self–expression, improving literacy and engaging creativity, whilst providing professional development for the next generation of Queensland songwriters. The program related to QSA guidelines in the primary and senior music syllabus.

Music Generators Models

There were three different types of models that were piloted throughout the Music Generators program. For more information on the benefits and limitations of each and information on running on running a Music Generators program in your school download the Pilot Models document HERE.
