Robbie Miller Wins APRA Music Award

QMusic congratulates Brisbane local and Queensland Music Awards finalist Robbie Miller on taking out The Blues & Roots Work of the Year award at the 2017 APRA Music Awards for his song The Pain, co-written with Nathan Morrison.

Robbie Miller launched onto the scene in 2013 gaining immediate attention as an insightful and heartfelt lyricist with a unique solo sound. Since then Miller has played regular shows and released 2 EP’s ‘Closer to Home’ and ‘The Faster The Blood Slows’, where his APRA award winning track ‘The Pain’ originated.

Robbie will soon be leading sessions as a part of the APRA AMCOS Starting Ground skills development workshop for Aboriginal songwriters taking place in Byron Bay May 11-12.
