BEMAC presents Get Prep’d: Get Training

AUG 9: the latest in BEMAC’s series of free workshops, Get Prep’d: Get Training, will be held at the Queensland Multicultural Centre. The series is designed to assist arts business and provide them with the necessary tools and techniques to be efficient, up-to-date and relieve the stress of this sometimes daunting part of the industry.

The workshop will be facilitated by Bridget Garay of Human Ventures, who has worked with Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander communities across Australia with particular emphasis on micro business and community enterprise. Bridget has extensive experience in the Arts industry spanning 16 years and is well respected as an arts worker.

Covering topics such as Facilitator Techniques, Working with Diverse Communities and Engaging Youth, the Get Prep’d Artist Development Program is designed to upskill artists in the area of arts facilitation, enabling participants to confidently explore additional revenue building.
