Paces Signs Huge US Label Deal

Gold Coast producer Paces will join Republic Records; the US record label home to huge names including Drake, Lorde and The Weeknd, his Aussie representatives etcetc have announced.

Since emerging in 2014, Paces (real name Mikey Perry) has gone strength to strength, collaborating with the likes of Kucka and Tkay Maidza. Now his career is set to go global with this new deal, signed off the strength of his single Savage.

"The Casablanca and Republic labels are very excited to welcome Paces to our artist roster," Senior Vice President of Republic Records A&R, Brett Alperowitz, said. 

"Savage is a fantastic tune that we feel can have success here in the US and around the world. The song was our point of discovery for this talented artist, but we look forward to more great music from Paces."

Aden Mullens, head of etcetc added, "As a humble Australian indie label, it's affirming to have the excitement and support of one of the biggest labels in the world. Paces, Falcona and etcetc are looking forward to working with Brett and the global Casablanca/Republic team breaking Paces in key global territories".
