Turn Up Reveals Live Music Lineup

Turn Up, the Sunshine Coast’s Music Industry Conference, has unveiled a list of live music acts who’ll be playing the 2017 event. In addition to its impressive lineup of speakers, ticket holders will be treated to performances by rising stars Nicole McKinney, Mason Hope and Doolie.

Singer songwriter Mason Hope has enjoyed an incredible past 12 months, taking out the 2016 Gympie Music Muster talent search, the 2017 Trans-Tasman Entertainer Of The Year (held on Norfolk Island) and performing at Bluesfest 2017.

Alt-pop songstress Doolie won the Schools Award at the 2016 Queensland Music Awards and has since been playing live and recording new music alongside studying a Bachelor of Popular Music at the Queensland Conservatorium. Up-and-comer Nicole McKinney moved to Australia from Dubai when she was 8 and has been playing guitar since she was 13.

The conference has already announced two high-profile speakers – artist manager and festival promoter Ted Gardner (Tool, Jane’s Addiction, Queens of the Stone Age, Lollapalooza) and Woodford Folk Festival Director Bill Hauritz.

Turn Up Sunshine Coast Music Industry Conference takes place on Thursday 19 October at The Lind Theatre, Nambour from 4.45pm.
