Nightlife Music Announce International Partnership

Queensland based company Nightlife Music have joined forces with global electronics giant AOPEN, in what they call “a strategic play designed to take the company’s services to a global audience.”

Nightlife Music CEO David O’Rourke said the partnership is a crucial factor in rolling out their new crowdDJ app globally. The app allows users at bars, sports events and other venues to tap into their own Spotify accounts, allowing them to control the music.

“Over the past 12 months we’ve rolled crowdDJ® out to more than 800 sites across Australia, with over five million user engagements. It’s allowing us to scale much more rapidly, and expand internationally,” Mr O’Rourke said.

AOPEN are a major electronics manufacturer operating in over 100 markets worldwide. CrowdDJ will integrate with AOPEN’s MeldCX product. In addition
to the mobile app, users can select the music they want to hear via Google Chrome-powered touchscreen kiosks.

New Zealand will be the first international market to see a rollout of the service, acting as a test market before Nightlife expands to other areas across the globe.
