NLMAs Finalists Announced

The second annual National Live Music Awards have revealed their huge list of finalists for 2017, with Queensland artists Amy Shark and Confidence Man up for multiple national awards and our very own BIGSOUND nominated for Best Live Music Event in Australia.

The NLMAs celebrate the best in Australian live music, with ceremonies held simultaneously at venues across the country on Thursday, 7 December. In addition to nation-wide and people’s choice awards, prizes are handed out to the best live acts, individual musicians, live music venues and events in each state.

Queensland Music Awards 2017 winners feature heavily among the local categories, with Cub Sport, Violent Soho, and Good Boy all in the running for awards.

Tickets to all events, bar the invite-only Melbourne gala, are free and will be available exclusively through NLMA's official ticketing partners Oztix from Monday 23 October, with $5 from every gala ticket sold going towards Support Act and donations on the door encouraged at all events.

Check out the full list of Queensland nominees below, and for all categories and more information head over to the NLMAs website.
