Global Deals & New Single for Tia Gostelow

Local favourite Tia Gostelow has capped off an incredible 12 months, signing with US label AntiFragile Music and securing a global publishing deal with Native Tongue.

The signings are the cherry on top of an incredible year for the 18-year-old Mackay songstress, which began with two wins at the 2017 Queensland Music Awards.

News of the signings comes in the lead-up to a new single release for Gostelow. Her new track Hunger is officially released November 10 and came about during a writing session with Sydney’s Little May.

"We started chatting away just having a casual conversation about music and our life and we got onto the topic of how I had been experiencing a lot of tall poppy syndrome back at home," Gostelow said.

"I had always struggled with making good friends and staying in friendship groups all through out high school, I always felt a bit like I was an outsider, I wasn't bullied or anything, I just always felt people didn’t understand what I was doing with music and how serious I was about it."
