Get Listed In The Regional Arts Workers Directory
Queensland artists and arts workers, who are willing and available to work in regional Queensland communities, are invited to be included in the second edition of The Regional Directory of Arts Workers. The first edition introduced 24 accomplished arts workers in Queensland.
The purpose of the Regional Arts Workers Directory is, firstly, to enable regional Queensland to choose from a menu of skilled arts workers when they require arts workshops or programs in their community. Secondly, it is hoped that this resource will promote employment opportunities for all Queensland arts workers (across all art forms; music, dance, theatre, visual arts) and raise the profile of their important and specialised skills.
The Regional Arts Workers Directory will be produced by the end of October 2012. The directory will also be available on the Artslink Queensland website in November.
