Want to Perform at the triple j Unearthed Showcase?
This year triple j Unearthed will be presenting 2 showcases at BIGSOUND Live and are looking for two local acts (one band to open each night) to join the lineup at Oh Hello! on the 12th and 13th of September. Applications are now open and close on 19 August.
You'll be playing to press, radio, festival organisers, managers, publishers, and A&R reps, as well as a huge local crowd. Plus you get to attend the conference and pick the brains of the best in the business.
The prize includes:
- Showcase Gig
- Conference pass
- Passes to Bigsound Live for each band member
In its 11th year, BIGSOUND is one of the most respected music conferences around with the majority of Australia's big industry players and special international guests in attendance.
Each year BIGSOUND Live gives punters an opportunity to be part of the action with a huge two-night music festival. This year's line up has 120 of Australia's best and brightest new acts taking over Fortitude valley on Wednesday September 12th and Thursday Sept 13th in a massive celebration of Australian music.
To be in with a chance you just need to have your tracks uploaded on the triple j Unearthed site before Sunday 19th August and have Brisbane or Gold Coast selected as your region.
