Upcoming Heat for Telstra Road to Discovery
Independent musicians from the Sunshine and Central Coast have until Thursday 16 August to enter the Telstra Road to Discovery, one of Australia’s most recognised talent development programs. This year, the Telstra Road to Discovery celebrates 10 years of supporting emerging artists launch their careers in the music industry.
Up to six local musicians will be selected to perform at the Bundaberg heat of the Telstra Road to Discovery. They will compete for a chance to win a 12-month music mentorship package, including the ultimate experience of performing at the Americana Festival in Nashville USA.
The Bundaberg heat of the Telstra Road to Discovery will be held at Bundy in Bloom, Main Stage, Alexandra Park, Quay Street, Bundaberg from 11.30am on Sunday 9 September.
The event will feature a performance by special guest host Melbourne singer-songwriter Harry Hookey (2011 performer category winner), supported by local Queensland musician Bart Thrupp (2011 Toowoomba heat winner).
