Long Play Exhibition at Artisan Gallery

The Artisan Gallery is displaying iconic album artwork in an interactive exhibit, celebrating the impact of album art during the age of the 12" record. elebrating the iconic nature of traditional album artwork, the Artisan Gallery is holding an exhibition exploring the legacy of the long play record and their covers from 1940 to 1980.

With over 150 12” album covers on display that range from much-loved classic covers to controversial album imagery, the Long Play exhibit will explore the cultural and social impact of these images as well as providing a nostalgic trip into the past.

The exhibit will officially launch on Thursday the 23rd of August, but will be on display throughout the BIGSOUND music conference.
