Entries for the 2013 Queensland Music Awards have been extended this week, giving the state’s songwriters one last chance to submit entries and get their music heard! The new deadline for submission is midnight Monday May 6.

Judges Announced for 2013 Queensland Music Awards
QMusic and The Courier-Mail are excited to announce judges for the 2013 Queensland Music Awards. With names including Lars Brandle of Billboard, Rhoda Roberts of Sydney Opera House and Boomerang Festival, and Glenn Dickie of Sounds Australia and Aussie BBQ, the work of Queensland songwriters is set be heard by some of the country’s most knowledgeable and influential figures in their field.

Queensland Music Awards 2013 Now Open
Entries for the 2013 Queensland Music Awards are now open, giving the state’s songwriters a chance to get their music heard. The Awards shine the spotlight on the state’s homegrown talent, with last year’s winners notably including international buzz band, DZ Deathrays, Cub Scouts, Kate Miller-Heidke, The Grates, Ben Salter, Pete Murray and many more.
