The Australian Cultural Fund (ACF) is hitting the road this Spring, stopping off at the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts in Brisbane on 25 October for a free, hands-on workshop designed for artists and arts organisations to make the most of their fundraising platform.
Managed by Creative Partnerships Australia, The ACF helps Australian artists across all disciplines fund their projects. Through the ACF, artists upload their project, start their fundraising campaign and invite art lovers and supporters to donate. Unlike all-or-nothing fundraising platforms, ACF artists set a fundraising goal, but if it’s not met all donations are still taken into account. Donations over $2 are tax deductible, and supporters get the chance to make a real difference to the work of Australian artists.
ACF Manager Aneke McCulloch will take you through all you need to know about fundraising on the ACF, top tips from artists, best practice approaches, and set you up with a take-home fundraising strategy for your next project.
Whether you’re starting out in fundraising, have a bit of experience but keen to learn more, or just curious about how it might work for you, register now to build your skills in raising money for your music.
Over the next 12 months AMEX will be supporting the Australian music industry by giving music venues, business, artists and fans the opportunity to share in a grant program valued at $1million.
The Access Arts Achievement Award provides funding for Queensland artists, arts workers and producers with disability working in any art form to create, develop, present, produce, exhibit and/or tour their work.
If you're a local artist, creative business or organisation, grants are available to bring your big ideas to life through the RADF. Projects supported are bold, collaborative and fuel the cultural charge that’s happening on the Gold Coast.
