The Award provides $10,000 for an emerging artist to record with an established producer and receive career-planning advice from Chugg Entertainment.
Now in its 3rd year, BIGSOUND Tech will significantly expand opportunities and skill development for new creative tech developers.
The program will showcase both developers ideas and their application, providing access greater market feedback, training and support.
BIGSOUND welcomes applications from existing and emerging tech companies with products at prototype stage who are looking to:
- Develop communication tools to assist in raising capital to further develop or launch their product
- Market test their product and gain unbiased industry feedback
10 prototypes will be selected for the showcase. Successful applicants will participate in workshops with a group of industry leaders and mentors gaining insights, doing an initial pitch, and getting necessary feedback.
The events and workshops will run the length of the conference, providing emerging tech companies the chance to market test their products with other industry in attendance at BIGSOUND.

With the countdown well and truly on for the 2019 Australian Women in Music Awards, the event has begun its rollout of exciting program details ahead of the October Awards Ceremony and Concert at the Brisbane Powerhouse!
Leading the announcement, the reveal of the 2019 AWMA Program speakers include Amy Sheppard, Yumi Stynes, Deborah Cheetham, Kween G, and Kim ‘Busty Beatz’ Bowers, along with an Awards Concert that traverses Opera, Roots, Hip-Hop, Pop, Rock and even a “Guitarmagedon”.
