Take your songwriting to the next level! The 2022 Grant McLennan Fellowship applications are now open. Applications close 5pm, Monday 29 August 2022.
Held on Saturday 18 August, Ekka’s Country Music Showdown Presented by Ringers Western is a place for rising stars to showcase their talent and catch their big break!
Country artists aged 12 years and over will also have the chance to share in more than $12,500 worth of cash and prizes and get a true live music experience when they’re backed by a live band.
The first prize in the Junior Competition is valued at almost $5,000 and includes the sought-after Troy Cassar-Daley Ekka Country Music Scholarship to the Tamworth Academy of Country Music, while the prize for the Open Category winner, also valued at almost $5,000, includes a studio recording session with Taramalin Sound.
