Congratulations Leanne Tennant!

Huge congratulations to Leanne Tennant, announced this week as the recipient of the 2018 Carol Lloyd Award! The award was presented at Songs That Made Me, which took place as part of Festival 2018 on April 8th.

The Cairns-based singer songwriter has worked tirelessly to pave her way to success. Her music offers up a mix of vulnerability and strength in her alternative blues and roots style.

Leanne’s career highlights to date include a nation-wide tour for her album RED WINE, LATE NIGHTS and music festival appearances, such as BIGSOUND, Sydney Blues & Roots and Red Deer Festival. She was also the recipient of the Blues & Roots Award at last year's Queensland Music Awards for her track Gentle Annie.

Congratulations also to Sahara Beck, Bec Laughton (RIVAH), Harriette Pilbeam (Hatchie) and Sue Ray who all made the list of finalists for the award.
