SXSW and The Great Escape have unveiled their first lineup announcements, and they both include some local Queensland legends!
Brissy face-melters WAAX, pop wunderkind Wafia and Mackay songstress Tia Gostelow will all make the pilgrimage to Austin, TX next March for SXSW. The largest music festival of its kind in the world, the event hosts a huge range of new, developing and established acts from all genres among 2,000+ official performers from 60+ countries.
Across the Atlantic, Brisbane based multi-instrumentalist and recent Levi's® Music Prize winner Emerson Snowe will showcase his unique live show for industry from the world over at The Great Escape in Brighton next May. Before then though, he'll be giving East London a glimpse of what's in store at the festival's exclusive FIRST FIFTY shows this November.
