Brisbane Pop Rock outfit KB Theory have just released a brand new single out in the world, and it's getting some serious spins on radio around the country thanks to knowledge they gained at Industry Connect!
The bands fresh new track HOPE was recently premiered over at Music is My Muse and has already been racking up a heap of airtime on stations like Brisbane's 4ZZZ, 3RRR in Melbourne and the Gold Coast's Rebel FM. The single also peaked at No. 4 on the triple j Unearthed Rock charts.
The band says QMusic's free workshop program has been pivotal in helping them secure radio play.
"Each workshop has guided us along the way. We've been able to speak to people working within the industry and get tips on what to do, have the chance for them to hear our music and give us feedback and learnt about Amrap Airit and getting your music to community radio."

The band say Industry Connect has been a great opportunity to not only learn about navigating the music industry but to expand their network within their local scene.
"As well as picking up lots of tips from the workshops, I've had the chance to meet other musicians and industry people" they said.
With the single going great guns, KB Theory have been busy with a string of shows, recently playing Rare Finds with Sydney's Gold Member and Sunshine Coast acts High Tropics & Doolie. They snagged a spot at Teneriffe Festival and will soon appear on the lineups of both Morningside Festival on 29 July and Redfest on 7 September.
