Festival organisers are seeking fresh, vibrant acts, with music ranging from acoustic, roots, world, blues, bluegrass, country and more. This year Queensland is one of two featured states, so programmers will be looking for something special from the Sunshine State!
Performers can apply to take part in more than one program category, with spots open for music, dance, kids performances, workshops, circus and more. All selected acts will be programmed to perform 3-5 times over the Festival weekend.
Celebrating Australia’s First Peoples is a vital part of the National’s program and one of the most popular features of the Festival, so First Nations acts are strongly encouraged to apply.
