Queensland Acts Ink Label Deals

Exciting news for two up and coming local acts, with raucous punk four-piece WAAX and rising star of the Brisbane rap scene Carmouflage Rose both signing label deals.


Coming off the back of a massive 18 months, which has seen them tour with the likes of Fall Out Boy, Violent Soho, Dune Rats, and Ecca Vandal not to mention a slew of headline shows and festival slots around the country, WAAX have been added to the illustrious artist roster of Dew Process. The new comes alongside the announcement of new single Labradordue for release next month, which the band will support with a huge 12 date national tour throughout May and June.

Carmouflage Rose

Brisbane based rapper and Zimbabwean implant Carmouflage Rose has been chalking up huge points since releasing his debut single Late Nights back in June of last year, scoring a tonne of airplay and a spot on the 2017 BIGSOUND lineup thank to triple j Unearthed. He can now add 'major label deal' to his list of achievements, having just signed with Sony Music Entertainment Australia. He celebrated the announcement by dropping a brand new single Wildflowers, which he'll follow up with shows around the country.
