
Dennis 'Mop' Conlon Scholarship
Presented for the first time in 2023, the annual $15,000 Dennis ‘Mop’ Conlon Scholarship provides the opportunity for an emerging Indigenous Queensland musician or band to develop and record a song or series of songs, which could be the next Cultural anthem/s for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, as many of Uncle Mop’s songs are, as well as funds to support and develop their ongoing career in the music industry.
