From the Valley to Forever - Young Franco Immortalised in Bronze on the Valley Walk of Fame
Brisbane's beloved producer joins the icons of Fortitude Valley in a landmark tribute to local music royalty

One of Brisbane's most-streamed DJs has cemented his place among Queensland music royalty - just one day before the 2026 Queensland Music Awards Young Franco has been added to the Valley Walk of Fame.
There's a new Bronze square on Brunswick Street Mall and it belongs to one of Brisbane's own.
Young Franco, the DJ, producer and electronic artist born and raised in Fortitude Valley, was today inducted into the Valley Walk of Fame, joining a lineage of Queensland's finest music talent including Jem Cassar-Daley, SYCCO, The Jungle Giants, Amy Shark and Violent Soho.
The plaque commemorates Young Franco's Song of the Year win at the 2025 Queensland Music Awards for Wake Up feat. Master Peace - one of three QMA awards he took home that night. It's a full-circle moment for an artist who got his start in the very streets and venues that now bear his name.
