Sarah Farnsworth is a seasoned festival coordinator and event producer with a passion for supporting the development and growth of the Queensland arts sector. With 10 years of industry experience, Sarah has worked across a breadth of roles including producing and event management, logistics and operations, and festival system management. Her event and festival experience includes Brisbane Festival, Sydney Festival, Splendour in the Grass, Woodford Folk Festival, Yonder Festival, and Jungle Love Festival.

Sarah is dedicated to supporting emerging artists and arts workers and throughout her career has played a proactive role in developing strategic initiatives that support safety, accessibility, and diversity. She is an avid gig-goer and supporter of the local music scene and has never missed a BIGSOUND.

Outside of gigs, Sarah is committed to pursuing her hobbies, including playing Dungeons & Dragons, practicing her DJing (as a recent QUIVR grad), enjoying Reverends bagels, and showing people photos of her rescue greyhound.

As a peak body we also acknowledge the important role that music has played and continues to play on these lands since the very first sunrise.
