#About Theses Sessions

It's All About The Music

The Song Is All. It doesn’t matter if you know all there is to know about our industry if you don’t have the songs! Play your music or music you represent to Australian songwriters, radio programmers, A&R professionals and other music industry professionals to gain live feedback from the artists and industry reps who are the top of their game. This session will give participants an insight into creating the most important part of any musical project, the music!

It's a Business

Gain greater insight into cultivating multiple revenue streams, when and how should you tour, how regularly you should be releasing music and how much you should be investing for your project.

Music streaming has completely revolutionised the way the world consumes music. This panel will cover a whole range of topics related to the world of releasing and consuming music, including how to engage with the streaming platforms and make the most of the new opportunities they provide. QMUSIC acknowledges the many Traditional Custodian groups all across what is now referred to as Queensland. We pay our respect to all elders: past and present. As a peak body we also acknowledge the important role that music has played and continues to play on these lands since the very first sunrise.
