Musicians Guide to Survival: An educational discussion opportunity aimed to establish minimum standards of pay, conditions, contracts, insurance and conduct; as well as promote open dialogue between artists and venues. Aimed at not just the originals artists, but aspiring, working covers musicians, session musicians, booking agents and venue owners. Topics will cover everything from necessary insurances and covers, to fair wages, superannuation, tour budgeting and how to make sure you’re not under or over charging.
