The Scholarship is also intended to pay for any costs associated with the development of the song (eg. songwriting trips/retreats, cultural education/workshops), recording of the song (eg. An appropriate producer/mixing and mastering engineers/studio fees – if required), and if required an established Indigenous musician/Elder for mentoring opportunities. Commission for managers may be taken from the scholarship. Please ensure these costs are included in your proposal and budget.
