With a background in both Education and Instrumental music, Kat began her career teaching and conducting at various school programs throughout Southeast QLD before then going on to complete a Bachelor of Music at QUT in 2016. After graduating, she began working in the Brisbane music scene managing, booking, and playing for a selection of bands and solo acts and larger orchestral groups.

With over 13 years of experience in performance and music management, Kat has had the opportunity to work with and play at various major Australian festivals and events including Falls Festival, Big Day Out, Caloundra Music Festival, National Folk Festival and Woodford Folk Festival. She has also previously worked with QMusic as the Volunteer Coordinator for BIGSOUND 2022.
